You’ve had chicken pox, but so light a case, and you were so young, I’m not surprised you don’t remember it. So you’re at 60, and that’s the family high, so far!

    Love,

    Mom

You might also have seen the changing of the guards, though probably in 1969 when you wouldn’t remember it. Either that, or I haven’t seen it either! (I have just a vague memory that we all did…Mom??)

  3. Margaret says:

Well, yes: everyone went to see the changing of the guard. And by some definitions, all of us were on a ‘cruise’ from San Francisco to Yokohama in 1969, as well as from Yokohama to Nahodka at the beginning of that trip. Caroline, at about 6 months, did Manila to Yokohama via Hong Kong as well….

    Mom (again!)

PS: Oops: I forgot the cruise from St. Petersburg to London, via Helsinki and Bremerhaven en route to England in 1969.
